🇫🇮 Finland — one of Europe's most advanced e-invoicing markets
Peppol E-Invoicing for Finland.
Live in Minutes.
Finland has one of the highest e-invoicing adoption rates in Europe. As Peppol becomes the cross-border standard, Finnish businesses need an affordable, reliable connection. Setup takes under 10 minutes with tapr.ch.
Finland Leads in E-Invoicing. Does Your Cross-Border Setup Keep Up?
Finnish businesses are among the most digitally mature in Europe. But connecting to international partners via Peppol — especially as B2B mandates spread across the EU — requires the right Access Point.
Cross-Border Mandates
Belgium mandated B2B e-invoicing in January 2026. France follows in September 2026. Your European customers and suppliers increasingly require Peppol for B2B transactions.
Finvoice vs Peppol
Finland's domestic Finvoice network is strong, but it does not reach your partners in Germany, Belgium, France, or Switzerland. You need Peppol for cross-border invoicing.
Expensive International Solutions
Enterprise Peppol providers charge EUR 495/month or more. That pricing does not fit small and medium Finnish businesses trading across Europe.
Integration Effort
Connecting your accounting system to a Peppol Access Point can require IT projects, custom development, and months of work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Peppol e-invoicing mandatory in Finland? ▾
Finland requires e-invoicing for B2G transactions. Finnish public entities must accept and are encouraged to send e-invoices. B2B e-invoicing is not currently mandated, but Finland has one of the highest voluntary adoption rates in Europe, and cross-border mandates make Peppol increasingly important.
What is the difference between Finvoice and Peppol? ▾
Finvoice is Finland's domestic e-invoicing network, operated through Finnish banks. It works well for domestic B2B. Peppol is the pan-European network that connects you to businesses in 40+ countries. For cross-border invoicing, Peppol is the standard. tapr.ch connects you to Peppol.
What is a Y-tunnus? ▾
Y-tunnus is your Finnish Business ID issued by the Patent and Registration Office (PRH). It is used to create your Peppol Participant ID. tapr.ch registers this automatically when you sign up.
Can I invoice partners in other Nordic countries? ▾
Yes. All Nordic countries — Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland — are part of the Peppol network. Your Finnish Peppol ID works seamlessly across all of them, plus 40+ other countries.
What formats does tapr.ch support? ▾
We support multiple formats including Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung (Germany), ZUGFeRD, and Factur-X (France). Note that Finvoice is a separate network — tapr.ch connects you to Peppol specifically.
Do I need to integrate with my accounting software? ▾
No. You can use tapr.ch standalone via the web interface. If you want automation, we offer REST API integration with ERPs including ERPNext and Dynamics 365 F&O.
